eZine and eBook Directories

Thinking of Authoring an Article or eBook?

What do you do when you want to write an article or an ebook?  Of course having an idea helps, but how specific should it be?  Has anyone else written about the same subject?  How popular a subject is it?  Can I write another book or article without seeming to copy what's already out there?  What does a successful article or ebook look like?

LOTS of questions start bubbling to the surface, but where do you find the answers?  The first thing to do is to do a search on eZines or eBooks.  My search produced a nice list of not only places that would list my product, but also sites that would help me understand and learn the process.  Jogena's site handles both eZine and eBook sites in an informative manner.

HERE'S a product that can answer the majority of the questions asked above - AND it's only $11.95!  It's called "HOW To Find 'HOT' Topics For Your Ebooks & Info Products!"  Enjoy learning through watching these videos - just as if you were in a classroom! Once you've written your article or ebook, then you can also pass these videos along either as a giveaway or for a nominal charge.  It's entirely up to you...

Still have other questions, or maybe you need a REALLY GOOD ebook maker, then come visit our main site and check out DeadEasy, the software that makes the entire process

Tips for buying an Ebook Maker

I came across this article, published May 16, 2006, which said in part:

"

Among people aiming to reach an extensive audience with their texts and/or audio-visual materials, Ebooks are rapidly becoming an extraordinary method. Apart from them, webmasters who are keen on promoting websites and retaining visitors, publishing ebooks and distributing them has become a profitable trend.

If you have written an ebook and are looking forward to publish them, sooner or later you will probably be faced with a dilemma of choosing an ebook creator that best meets your needs and also comes within your financial budgets.

Here are a few things that you may want to ponder before you make a purchase.

1. Make sure that your ebook maker can compile different file types such as audio, video, mp3, Flash and other multimedia contents apart from a simple HTML or a text file. Whether you should create your e-book as a Pdf file or .exe file is another issue. I would rather have them in a separate exe format because they generally don't require you to install any other software to run them.

2. An ebook maker that anyone purchases should be easy to use and shouldn't require special knowledge.

3. Also make sure that you don't require other softwares to read your ebook. Buying an ebook maker to create an ebook and then purchasing another software to run it would be unthinkable. Readers of your ebook would surely want to avoid buying and then installing softwares just to read it.

4. Do check out what other features are attached to your ebook maker. Does it have TOC generator or for that matter a cover page generator?

5. Also keep in mind that the ebook maker that you choose has functionality to allow you to prohibit others to copy or print your contents.

6. You may also want your ebook maker to be able to create compressed ebooks easing your readers with smaller disk space and download bandwidth.

7. Remember that ebooks are generally created with different expiration modes so that readers who are using your book for a trial period are unable to access them after that. Does your ebook maker have this feature?

8. Lastly, don't forget to check the system requirements. You probably wouldn't want to change your operating system run an Ebook."

Good points to consider.  Check out DeadEasy (http://bean-wars.com) and see how it compares with the others...

Making Money Only Really Comes From Selling Your Own Products!

What is it about making money online?

How many of you have tried to sell something online?
I started out selling someone else's products but there were too many other stores for my store to even be seen.  Even with their so-called marketing package, I ended up being like Waldo in a sea of stores...

OK, what would happen if I became an affiliate - would it be any easier or cheaper selling fewer products for someone who had already been successful marketing the product?  Well, I had no overhead, but the competition was still there.  How many other affiliates were selling the same product(s)?  How long after the author had made his money did he setup his affiliate program?

Then I started reading about using these "niches" or specialties to narrow your competition and attract only those who were truly interested.  Not only were my advertising dollars spent more wisely but with fewer products, I could concentrate on getting quality merchandise!  But what niche should I concentrate my efforts on?  Which niche was the most popular?

What works the best?
I found a software producer that makes software that helps you develop new products of your own!  Here was someone who was dedicated to decrease the numbers of "shop owners" so his products could be sold by a small enough number to make their sales profitable - thus build a family of shop owners!  His best selling product is called DeadEasy - an ebook maker that not only makes the process of developing an ebook easier, it also is versatile enough to handle audio/video presentations as well!!!

What could be better?  Maybe a software program that is easy for anyone to use yet also powerful and versatile enough to handle projects as simple as photo collections to marketing projects or businesses...

What would make these products better?  To find something so powerful at a price that is so affordable!  Make it ever be so...
