How many of you have tried to sell something online? I started out selling someone else's products but there were too many other stores for my store to even be seen. Even with their so-called marketing package, I ended up being like Waldo in a sea of stores...
OK, what would happen if I became an affiliate - would it be any easier or cheaper selling fewer products for someone who had already been successful marketing the product? Well, I had no overhead, but the competition was still there. How many other affiliates were selling the same product(s)? How long after the author had made his money did he setup his affiliate program?
Then I started reading about using these "niches" or specialties to narrow your competition and attract only those who were truly interested. Not only were my advertising dollars spent more wisely but with fewer products, I could concentrate on getting quality merchandise! But what niche should I concentrate my efforts on? Which niche was the most popular?
What works the best? I found a software producer that makes software that helps you develop new products of your own! Here was someone who was dedicated to decrease the numbers of "shop owners" so his products could be sold by a small enough number to make their sales profitable - thus build a family of shop owners! His best selling product is called DeadEasy - an ebook maker that not only makes the process of developing an ebook easier, it also is versatile enough to handle audio/video presentations as well!!!
What could be better? Maybe a software program that is easy for anyone to use yet also powerful and versatile enough to handle projects as simple as photo collections to marketing projects or businesses...
What would make these products better? To find something so powerful at a price that is so affordable! Make it ever be so...
